PROD 150 Introduction to Film Production

Offered: July 20-31, 2020, Monday – Friday, 9am-3pm 

 

Intro to film is production is designed to develop a broad range of skills needed to make a movie. Hand-on classes introduce filmmaking on location, including proper set-up and breakdown of the camera, audio and lighting equipment. Students work collaboratively and individually using introductory technologies and writing exercises to develop critical skills as a viewer, maker and reader.

Filmmaking for Teens - Advanced

Advanced Filmmaking for Teens is open to those students who have completed the Summer Teen Program (this year or in previous years) or have previous video experience.
Take the skills you've learned and put them to work with either a large collaborative class project, or test out those experimental and innovative ideas you have with the help of a group of dedicated classmates.

The Summer Teen Filmmaking Program concentrates on developing skills in video production. This intensive two week program culminates with students completing a final project on video. The program provides a practical foundation for filmmaking skills--lighting, camera, composition, and editing.

-July 1 to 12, M-F 9AM to 2PM (No Session July 4th)

Acting for Film for Teens is a one week course open to teens who would like to develop their skills in acting for the camera. Learn how to develop a characterimprovise lines or action, and more.
