Adobe After Effects is the industry standard for motion graphics for video and film. A working knowledge of After Effects has become as essential for the working editor as knowing Final Cut or Premiere. Students will be introduced to the user interface and basic tool set. In addition they will learn the basics of animating and adding effects to video and graphical elements to create sophisticated motion and title effects.
Although the program is similar for Macs and PCs, potential students should be comfortable using the current Mac operating system during the class in our Mac lab. Alternatively, if you have AfterEffects CC17 installed on your PC or Mac laptop, you can also bring it in to use during class.
